Sins graphics changes timer too short?

The timer for sins changing graphical options is too short. Its something like 5-10 seconds, and it would be great if it was closer to 30 seconds 
I have a fairly decent machine (AMD 4000+, 8800 GTS, 1 gig ram, XP SP2, 1920x1080 max details) and still sometimes when I change graphical settings (like just going to or from a window setting) it times out and changes me back since I wasn't able to click keep settings in time. I imagine lower end users would have this issue more often.
(Yes I know I can edit the settings file for the game, but its much easier to change things within the game)
Perhaps in the next patch you could increase this timer? Thanks!
Alternatively, maybe you could have the timer length variable something editable in the ini file?
