So, I pre-ordered the game, got my credit card charged and was able to make a very quick download - all good. But I noticed that now that the game is launched, the price is exactly the same...
What happened to set the price a bit cheaper in pre-order? I pre-ordered the game after beta testing was closed. Was that the only advantage? I've been enjoying Stardock since 2003. As I recall from the GalCiv series, there was a perceivable price advantage to pre-order. If pre-ordering post-beta testing worked only as a means to get maximum effect from a player's willingness to purchase this game, then I feel somehow duped...
