User-Name in Start Menu

I have been trying to duplicate a start menu skin from a skin I downloaded from
deviant art. It is called 'XP Leopard Dock', and it has an oversized start menu.
Somehow the person who built this skin was able to re-position the user-name away
from the user icon background, and next to a windows logo in the places list. I have
tried doing this with the painting margins, but this just moves the actual user icon.
Any ideas on how this would be done?

Thanks,

jet

Better to try with text margins on the start panel's top part ;)

Yes, I tried that, but it has no effect. The funny thing is that I am using the same
exact settings in the start menu section that the original XP Leopard-Dock Style uses.

Error ;) The Username and Usericon are in top part in this skin.
The Win logo in a part of the top part graphic.

Settings should enter regarding your graphics and not copied from another skin. Like for you it don't work (and you thought the username was on place list) i assume you don't use the same size of graphics.

Go to "Edit start menu and taskbar > Edit Start Menu >> Start Menu > Top Part"

The "Text" tab section will move the user picture and user name (when on XP)
as a single unity, then use the settings "Horizontal Text Shift" and
"Vertical Text Shift" to move the text only. You can use negative values too.
