WindowBlinds 6 and Firefox issue

Since I have been using WB6, Firefox hangs on me every so often. At first I assumed it was FF, was has just been updated to latest version. I did a clean install, but still it would hang. I thought maybe it's just a bug with the latest version, so I went back to using an older version which I had no problems with before, but this also hang. I am on a fresh install of XP with SP2, and the only program I have installed that I did not use before is WB6. I also use Object Dock and Icon Packager, but these I used on my last installation of XP and had no conflicts with FF. I also used WB5 for a time, and again like OD and IP, no conflicts with FF.

I have the latest WB6, updated with SDC. I have since un-installed WB6, and so far FF has not hung on me once.

Has anyone else experienced a similar problem?

No use FF all the time with latest version of WB6 never have it hang, this site can be very slow some times but I just put that down to the site not FF.

Been using FF on 2 XP rigs for a long time with no such issues.

maybe if I re-install WB6 that solve this problem, if not I'll have to use WB5.

Well I installed WB6, and upon browsing Wincustomize for a few minutes, Firefox stopped responding. I have just installed WB5, will see what happens.

After installing WB5, again Firefox stopped responding after a few minutes of use. I am assuming there is some conflict between Firefox and WB, which wasn't present on my previous XP installation.

treacle pudding,

May I suggest you check the Firefox forums to see why Firefox is "hanging up" for you.

Yes I did that initially, before posting here. I couldn't find any info to do with Firefox and WB issues. Obviously this problem is not a common one as far I can see. I have just tried using IE7, this also hangs. I shall un-install WB, and give Firefox and IE7 a good use, to determine if WB is causing the conflict or not. When I used Firefox before after un-installing WB, I had no hangs, so assumed WB was the culprit.

I shall post again after I have given Firefox and IE7 a good try without WB installed.

It appears that Object Dock, which I also have installed, is the cause of IE7 hanging problems. I'll make a thread there.
