Splash damage

Some of the ships such as the LRM frigates have the ability to do splash damage, i was concerned in the most recent video on gamespot he zoomed in on a some frigates that were quite literally sitting on top of each other, surely the ship AI should spread out of from each other to avoid splash damage.

I really don't want to have to spread my frigates out each time i go into a fight. i'd be quite content with a button that just spreads them out.
