WB6 install problem

Seems to keep retrying

I purchased the $49.99 package along with Objeckdock +.  OD+ installed fine but when I try to install WB6, it keeps going up to 99% and then restarts over and over again.  It's been doing this for over 10 minutes.  Is something wrong or is this normal?

not normal

did you register your Object Desktop serial 1st?

is auto archive unchecked?

try right clicking on WB > archive application > download and archive

that download straight to archive

if that's successful > file > restore archive

sometimes it takes a minute or 2 to pull up the folder (takes quite a while for me - lots of archives), then highlight the one you archived and restore

It's doing the same thing. I'm gonna call it a night and try again tomorrow. Thanks for the help though.

I am having the exact same problem with WindowBlinds. It keeps downloading over and over but never gets to the install!!! :SNIFF!:

The new install package is missing a couple of bytes, that's why it's failing. According to my log. "wb6.sdc 0 | File Size Incorrect | 18198714 18195247"

If you are using Vista, try running SDC as an admin

Stardock needs to fix the install package. Tried to download with XP64 and Vista64.

SLK320: From which server were you downloading when you were receiving the wrong size archive?

Which version of Stardock Central is everyone using that has this problem? (Help->About SDC)

Hi, I tried opening SDC as administrator and attempted to download WindowBlinds again with no success. It just keeps recycling the download part. I was using US 1 as server.

Thank you for trying switching servers. Support are looking into it and hopefully a fix will be out shortly. Sorry for any inconvenience.  :)
