Force reconnect?

Is there a good way to force multiplicity to reconnect? when I used synergy I wrote a shell script to do this. It is not offen this is an issue, jut after docking my laptop after a meeting at times it can take over a half hour for it to reconnect to the server.

To connect to the server? Could you explain with a little more detail or to save you time in writing it twice can you send us an email to support@stardock.com?

Are you using a fixed IP or DHCP?

On some networks lookups can be slow to update and until the lookup returns the new IP you will not be reconnected as the new IP is not being returned.  You can test this by doing a ping <machine name> and see what IP is being returned.

Normal reconnect attempts happen constantly in the background and should take no more than 60 seconds to occur.
