slow mycomputer shortcut

hi again, obejectdock 1.9 is there a way to speed up the turn on of "my computer" window
when i turn it on on the desktop its virtual instant, but if i try the one on the dock it takes few seconds, is there a way to speed it up? even the mozila shortcut turns mozila faster then my computer window

Just tested it here, and I see no difference. One method is as fast as the other.
Seems to be a few people having similar troubles lately, but long time users of ObjectDock aren't experiencing the issue.

just tested some more, its like there is a delay timer of some kind, my applications open normaly fast, but mycomputer, any shortcut relating to opening a folder of some kind ex desktop, or c drive, has a delay before it actualy starts, is there a way to look at settings manaly? maybe i can find it and fix it?

usualy in vista, havn't used xp in some time but decided to go back

Just thought of something you might try. Go to
C:\Documents and Settings\*USERNAME*\Local Settings\Application Data\Stardock\ObjectDockPlus\Settings.ini
OptimizeDockForSpeed=1

If you can't see the Local Settings folder, go to Tools >Folder Options > View > enable "Show hidden files and folders"
