Using individual PNGs?

Hi everyone

I have a PNG that I would like to use as my global Folder icon. Only thing is, I don't know how to get Icon Packager to use just this PNG to change the Folder icon for my entire system. Is there a possible way?

It has to be in Ico format. in other words an icon.. try Icondeveloper to convert it to a Icon.. then you can use iconpackager to change the folders icon to it..

This is lame....Icon packager can do what Windows allows you to do natively....you can change icons all you want but cannot use PNG with Icon Packager....... Then if you want to conver stuff you need to buy something else...this is a shakedown and dirty pool in my opinion.

Please...

It's Windows that doesn't allow the use of PNG, not IconPackager's fault.

Had you done your research before you purchased IP, you would have discovered that the ObjectDesktop suite has everything you need to deck your desktop out, including IconDeveloper which allows you to convert PNGs to icons.

Get free Irfan you can convert numerous ICO to PNG and PNG to ICO also does a multitude of different batch conversions I converted most of my ICO to PNG files So I have most my ICONS in PNG and ICO formats now
