WB is black about half the time on boot up

Hello, running purchaed version 6.01 of WindowBlinds, and I love it!

However, about 50% of the time, when I boot into Windows the taskbar, borders, and menus are black - almost looks like the 'revered' color option - launching WB and clicking "apply my changes' restores everything - or rebooting and rolling the dice.

Any ideas on this one?

Your file dates are somewhat off. Uninstall Windowblinds and reboot. Install Stardock Central and install the latest version of Windowblinds and reboot. Post your system info again after completion.

File dates are all over the map because I'm using a Winsows XP Pro disk from 2002 with Service Pack 3 slipstreamed into it.

I'm not into Stardock Central.

Please verify that WindowBlinds version 6.01 (build 40 x86) is the latest version.

Thank you.

WindowBlinds version : WindowBlinds 6.02 (build 43 x86)

this is the latest version of windowblinds. also i notice you are using SP3 RC which is currently a beta release. one thing you can try is uninstalling that and then giving windowblinds a go again as it could be that which is interfering. good luck

File dates for WB files have nothing to do with your OS or slipstreaming. Not sure what effect the RC of SP3 would have on the function/performance of WB, but that won't affect the file dates.

I suggest you "get into" Stardock Central - makes things much easier.

Not so. Perhaps you should deal directly with support@stardock.com.
