Welcome all to the sixth round of the Metaverse League!

Firstly congrats to the round 5 winners, The Eternal Villainy. Well done on a hard fought victory! :CONGRAT:

Please welcome to the league CraigHB, Wyndstar, CalifDude, Idazen and Haart guys, our newest MVL players.

CraigHB has been assigned to the Domination of Death (DoD), and along with the return of Noctilucus to the league and indeed to the DoD rounds out the DoD

Wyndstar has been assigned to the Blade Runners, please make him feel welcome!

CalifDude is on the A-Team and Idazen the Crusaders.

Haart, i have placed you in the Domination of Death.

There has been some discussion as to the selection of appropriate games in the event of a MV submition but no MVL submition. This is close to being resolved and the new rule will be posted here very soon.

On to round 6.
We need a Military Conquest in a Tiny galaxy with 2 opponents.

Settings are as follows,

Habitable planets - Common
Number of planets - Occasional
Number of stars - Rare
Star Density - Scattered
Anomalies - Abundant
Asteroids - Uncommon
Tech rate - Normal
Minors - Random (DL)
Check - Super Abilities (DA)
Check - Allow Surrenders
Check - Blind Exploration
Check - All Victory Conditions
Uncheck - Disable Tech Trading
Uncheck - Mega Events (DA)
Uncheck - Disable Minors (DL)

These have been up for a while, and are just awaiting approval by default. If no one has anything to add, then I think Mumble should go ahead with these.

Yes and the other one essentially covers what is required for this "approval by default". Both of these together pretty much cover the entire spectrum of how rules are decided within the MVL. So assuming no objection I'll update the OP of the rules thread to add these two items in a new section by themselves later on this evening.

Rules accepted by Consensus

From time to time minor issues may crop up that may not warrent the full attention of the League. In such cases a limited number of members may discuss the issue and come to some agreement. As long as no member of the league voices any objection to such an agreement and as long as such an agreement has been posted in a prominent thread (the current round thread or the MVL Rule thread) for a period of one week then that rule will be considered to be "official" by the league.

Besides any MVL member voicing an objection to the proposed rule, thereby invalidating the proposal, any member could also move to have a vote taken on the proposal which, as specified in our voting rules, requires a vote be taken as long as the motion is seconded by two other MVL members.

Congrats to the entire MVL on a smooth process and a well fought out election. Again i thank you guys for all your kind words, i am not sure i deserve so much praise...well..ok maybe i do ;) ...but if i did a good job as commish it was only because of the fantastic community we have here in the MVL holding me up.

I think Kzinti should be the official scorekeeper as i would be happy to accept the title of "Commissioner Emeritus". It sounds soo much better... :LOL:

I would be most happy to continue helping with score calculations but as was mentioned previously anyone should feel comfortable in doing their own tallying and confering with the MVL admin team.

For those that do not know the MVL Admins have a private thread at the ToE forums where all scoring for any round is tallied and verified. If anyone would like access and to be involved i would be more than happy to grant you access, I'm looking at you Mumble ;p

Thanks must also go to DethAdder for his assistance in the election...thanks mate!
