Hey there

I just got OD+ -can I install on top of OD free - cause I cannot find a way to uninstall the free version -doesn't show up in Stardock Central anymore

Kinda limits your options then.   ;)
Yes, you should uninstall the free before installing the Plus.  You can try refreshing the XML in SDC (Tools | Settings | Internet) but if that doesn't work you should delete manually.  Might want to run a registry cleaner before installing.

That did the trick - only needed to delete one more folder
