Won't load and just beeps

I load Mul. onto 2 computers and restarted both. Every time I try to open it on the primary computer it just beeps. I've also turned off Zone Alarm during it's installation and I am still not having any luck.

I am having the same issue with multiplicity trial. On WinXP primary, upon attempting to load multiplicity, it fails and I just hear abeep. However, the service appears to be running.

Can you telnet between the two PCs over the MP port?
What happens when you run the troubleshooting options on the secondary?

A beep would indicate it is unable to load the nag screen.

When did you download (and from where?)

Yesterday, and I downloaded from Download.com I believe.

I've since purchased multiplicity pro -- great tool, and very happy it works with Vista64.
