Can't register

I can't register a metaverse character. When I enter my serial number, they say it needs to be activated, but on the page it links to, I can't activate it, I just get an error message:
Error 3: Serial Number Is Not Registered To This Account.
I am actually from Russia and have a Russian version but I have read on the Russian publisher's page that everything must be ok, so I don't know what I should do :(. Help me!

I actually have a gold edition and the page is for registering dread lords... Where do I register dark avatar..?

I think that this means the serial number is associated with another e-mail.

I am not sure to correctly understood which version you have. Have you a gold edition (DL + DA) localized in russian?

If it's a new copy published by Snowball, contact support@stardock.com. Those ones should have valid serials in them.

Yes, it is a new copy by Snowball. But actually, they don't contain YOUR serial numbers. They have some code, and I had to send it to Snowball and only then got serial number for registering here...

The matter is, I had an old copy by Snowball, only original, DL. I also couldn't register it, but I was able to create a character with that serial number. This new copy doesn't work at all.

If you got the code direct from Snowball, then it should DEFINITELY work. Contact support@stardock.com and they should be able to sort you out.
