Just popping in to invade

Howdy.
In a recent game I managed to colonise a class 15 world in the middle of Yor space, quite far from my influence. I was at war with no-one, so I didn't bother about getting fighters in orbit just yet. Suddenly the Krynn invaded the world and took it from me; the most bizarre thing is that their relation with my civilisation before and after the invasion remained on "Close".

Nobody declared war. They just staged a friendly invasion of one of my most promising planets. Shortly afterward the Yor invaded the world, so I couldn't attempt a "friendly counter-invasion" of the Krynn.

Is this silly or what?

I had a similar, though slightly different encounter with the Yor.

I'd been at war with the Krynn, Thalan and Korx for a while but i'd been very friendly with the Yor - having the largest incomes of my trade routes with their worlds.

One turn, one of their ships randomly destroyed a ship of mine (i think it may have been a trade ship that was on it's way to begin a route (ironically with the Yor). I checked the relations screen several times but couldn't see why or how they got away with this.

I wasn't too bothered but i guess maybe it's a bug?

I've noticed a few other things since this most recent patch as well - such as enemy ships attacking my starbases from a stacked position.... and something which may be normal but i never noticed before: when i fail an invasion of a planet i get charged around 1000 bc.... but when i conquer, everything seems to be okay?
