Why this happen?

Since no one is getting attention to their pms when someone pms another I would like to understand why did someone cut my speech into the chat of IRC?

Two points and t2wave brought some valid arguments:

Firstly he was emailed to his email to answer if he really was a US Resident like he told me !
Why didnt we get emailed I mean you are discriminating people!

Secondly I dont see and it was brought by him that TheMasterBaron since he is a master skinner he do sympthasize and receives money from Stardock thus he is working for Stardock in a way !

Into the terms and conditions of the site it clearly states that no stardock employees or friends of stardock employees should enter the contest yet he did enter!

The Master skinners should have been locked to enter yet they didnt so I dont understand this aswell!

Lastly you have been very unpolite to cutting my speech out of the chat on IRC I was just following instructions that t2wave has sent me!

Isnt what the community is for to help each other well I followed his instructions and this is what we receive a kick in our butt!

This week someone was claiming to be t2wave.  After contacting the address registered to the account we confirmed that it was in fact not t2wave.  The user was attempting to disqualify entrants in the contest.

TheMasterBaron is not a Stardock employee.  He is making use of the sales service WinCustomize provides to select members of the community.  It is in no way similar as he is not paid by us to produce work.  He produces skins, places them for sale, and receives a portion of the sale.

Imagine if CafePress held a contest and stipulated that employees could not participate.  Would this disqualify everyone who has ever used the CafePress service because they have "been paid" by CafePress?  This is a pretty clear difference.

You connected to IRC from the same IP address as our imposter from earlier in the week, and your speech matches his very closely.  You are making some of the same claims as well.  Exhibit the same behaviors as that user. 

I have contacted TCAlienworks directly to clear this up.

What I can understand from this is that you had no rights into emailing him to ask for eligibility until he was announced as a winner as t was supposed to be 5th of this month!

Now the contest has changed dates to 11th of January!
I dont know if other changes are going to be made I hope not!

I agree with him when he says that Stardock is in a way leaving some individuals promote themselves!

Because lets think more about this TheMasterBaron is a master skinner and therefore when he sells dreams he wins money that money goes both for Stardock and for him!
So in a way like t2wave stated he is cooperating with Stardock that makes him at the very least a Stardock friend of Stardock Employees!

Therefore he is not eligible to compete as the terms and conditions of this contest say explicitely:
Employees of Stardock, Dell, Alienware, Microsoft, their friends and immediate families are not eligible to enter.

I cannot talk about this because I dont know what happenned to you!

To answer the following statement:
Imagine if CafePress held a contest and stipulated that employees could not participate. Would this disqualify everyone who has ever used the CafePress service because they have "been paid" by CafePress? This is a pretty clear difference.

My answer is only yes they wouldnt have been allowed to participate because here the status of Master is something that is in a way very much different than other sites!

Note the use of English on all of these posts.  Compare it against the use of English by these users on their skins and previous forum posts.

It does seem that someone is able to hijack other individuals nicknames, not a very good thing to have happen or do.  :(

It was confirmed that a user had found a way to post as others. This hole was identified and fixed last week. Those affected were notified. No passwords or other identifying information were revealed, it was just a way to fake out the system to think you were someone else.

As I said, the hole was plugged, we're good now :)

Just noticed this post by myself that I never made lol - Just wanting to confirm that even the hacker did not know what my password was? If he does I want to change it across the internet which will be a pain, but worth it if a hacker has it.
