A pirate theme problem

So i downloaded the pirate theme for desktopX. This is my first time using it, and I wanted to change my windows XP. The link to the one I got is https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.aspx?skinid=3878&libid=31 . The problem I'm having is, when I change my theme to that, it only changes my desktop and adds options. It dosn't change my start menu like it looks in the pic. Is there a reason for this? Is that how it's supposed to be? What do I do to fix it? Please help. :SNIFF!:

No that is now how it is supposed to look. However this is either a suite for WindowBlinds or MyColors. Which have you loaded? Also what account is this purchase under?

Purchase? I don't have either WindowBlinds or MyColors. did the link mess up and send you somewhere else? I didn't purchase anything, I just have DesktopX.

ZaylDragoia I think Seabass may have been thinking of another theme.

Why not do a screen shot of your desktop so we can see what you are talking about.

My fault I didn't check the link it seems. Sorry for the confusion. I downloaded it too. The author doesn’t have all the extra files in that theme loaded into what is downloaded. Meaning that was a picture of his desktop and not all of that is in the file. You can always contact them and ask for those extra files.

If I'm reading you question correctly, I think I have your answer.

The golden taskbar and start menu are to the Pirate suite (available for WindowBlinds or MyColors) see this link: https://www.stardock.com/products/themes/pirate/

According to the link you provided, the DX theme you downloaded should include: Mail Checker, Trash Bin, Meters, Weather and Calendar

I don't believe this download actually changes your start menu, rather the postition of the buttons on the left side happen to align with the start menu.

If this does not seem to answer your question, please post a screenshot of what your desktop looks like, or you may want to ask the artist in the link that you provided.

First time i am seeing this post. Took me long enough8(|

ArtPrincess is correct. It belongs to the pirate theme from Stardock.

At one time i did make Start menu system tray Ect... But with Vista and DX, all that stuff don't workX(

I hope one day That DX and Vista will be Friendly to each other so, I can start making full DX Themes again.
