Hi, I just bought object desktop and have been playing around with the features. I've got everything to work but the explorer icons; they just won't change. I applied the icons from WB and they will change in my folders, but they won't change in explorer. Any idea why this is? I couldn't find any answer to my question on the boards. I tried changing my font size to big and back to little, and also tried restarting...but neither worked. I even reinstalled IE thinking that might be it, but nope. It just doesn't seem like it should be this hard to figure out...but here I am...Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. THX!

What themes are you not seeing icons in when usign IE?
Have you installed iconpackager and loaded an iconpack?

What OS?

CHange your explorer Icons from big to small and back again and the set you want applied will show. It's been a bug in WB for ages. the set from the last WB applied tends to get stuck sometimes.

Hi, I'm running XP, with IE 7.

I have installed the icon packager and have loaded an icon pack. It changed all my icons except my explorer ones.

Let me give an example - I downloaded the WB Theme "A Touch Of Glass 3.1" and it comes with it's own toolbar icons. I've applied it and its applied everything but the icons to IE.

Like the forward back icons are IE defult icons still along with the STOP and REFRESH icons. None of them change, but if I mouse over the file, edit, view, favorite, tools, or help they all have a green background glow that got applied with the theme. It just didn't change the icons. I don't know why that is...very strange.

I've tried the enlarge and small font size many times and it does nothing for me. :0(

Anymore ideas would be appreciated...I'm bored of the IE default icons.

Oh on IE7... there are VERY few themes that have those skinned. In fact only one I know of is Harmony, by myself and that's only on Vista.

The toolbar icons for IE6 don't work in IE7 and as far as I know.. IE7 is not skinnable in XP..period. they will only show in IE6 and XP Explorer windows.

Not sure you can downgrade from 6 to 7 once 7 is installed unless you format and never install 7.

everything I read said once you uninstall 7, 6 pops back in

saw a post a while back somewhere, where someone lost their favorites, uninstalled 7 - 6 popped back in - they copied their favorites, then reinstalled 7
