WT? Cloaked Ships? Is this a bug?

Decided I wanted to play a few rounds again after about a year off, and so I downloaded Galciv 2, and the DA upgrade, Installed the latest patch (1.80g) and started to goto town. On my second game (Large/Normal/Challenging/No surrender) The terrans declared war on me- I mobilized and most of the war went like you'd expect on Challenging- Our Fleets would met, on to the next fight. Near the end of the war, half the ships on the opposing side would be invisible, and I found that if I engaged a fleet that had more invisibles then solids, the game would crash at the end of the fight. So I turned on instant battle/no show and that fixxed that. So after I destroyed the Terrans, there surviving ships splintered off, some joined other civs, a few became pirates. No biggie right? I checked out my map, making sure no Pirates threatened anything, and I hit

I've had similar problems, only that it's my own ships that lack graphical representation.

Yeah same problem, well into a lengthy game and all of a sudden enemy ships and fleets will go "invisible" you can select them, but there is no graphical representation and if you engage them in battle the game will crash.

You can zoom all the way out and they should show up

nah, if you zoom all the way out you will just see the fleet icons, the ships themselves will still not show up graphically or in the battle screens.

This appears to be an issue with the stock ships in the game. As of yet i have only seen this happen to the Terran type ships i play with. However i have forwarded the issue to stardock who could not find any issues!

If this happens during one of your games please send in a saved game (zipped) and your debug.err to the bug email. Maybe if enough of us send in our files they can get to the bottom of the issue.

I'm seeing not only terran type ships but also Yor and Drath also (I suppose they would be "stock AI ships". THis is happening in DA as well as the beta. Drivers are up to date, so I dont think this is a hardware issue.
