Wow!

Ok, I'm a hardcore rts'er from WAY back in the day (Dune and others) and I just got this. I love the space idea and that's the original attraction that got me to buy the game a few days ago. With it being turn-based, as you can imagine, I'm getting my @$$ handed to me because I'm just not sure where to go and what to do/not do. Any suggestions for a turn-based n00b like me? Thanks!

Sheesh, Brad, he asked for suggestions, and all you do is lap up some more praise. Aren't you getting sick of all this praise by now? ;)

Vorlin: in the Encyclopedia section of this site (link top-left) Brad/Frogboy has posted some gameplay examples that you might find worthwhile. Also, there's a shortcut to a Survivor Guide in your GalCiv start menu folder that has some basic tips.

Beyond that, unless you ask something specific, it's hard to give you tips... :(
