SysStats without Motherboard Monitor?

I'm in the process of upgrading my motherboard to an ASUS M2V, which I don't believe is supported by MBM. If that's the case, am I just out of luck as far as having any SysStats objects working? Is there another way for me to see my CPU Temp in the dock without MBM?

you could check out the ASUS website to see if they have any motherboard monitoring software, otherwise a search online might turn up something.

ASUS does have their own, but by all accounts it's pretty bad software. I know there are other apps out there to monitor temps and such, but what I want to know is if there are any docklets that can plug into them. The one I use now, SysStats, depends on MBM to provide this information.

ASUS Probe comes with the ASUS MB. It tells you CPU temp, fan speeds, etc......not impressive but works in a pinch.

Guys, I realize there are plenty of other programs out there that can monitor my hardware. What I'm trying to find out is there are any docklets that utilize them so I can see my CPU temp in the dock...

SysStats supports Speedfan. MBM settings for 'K8V' should give you the right temps for an M2V board.

Thanks! Out of curiosity, do you happen to know how to get the SpeedFan meter to work in SysStats? I don't see any .ini files that say anything about SpeedFan and I can't find instructions anywhere to save my life.

Hopefully MBM will work in which case it's a non-issue, but I'd still like to know just in case...
