minimize/maximize/hide dilemma

where'd my bar go???

Here's the scenario:

I have a couple custom bars loaded.
I choose to run an application off one of the bars (Media Center, for example) which runs maximized. My bars are now gone.
I don't want them to run 'always in front' because I want to be able to use my entire screen for whatever app I'm running.
I can't set a hot key because it's a touch-screen computer. There's no keyboard.

How do I get my bar(s) to show up without have to close the currently running application?

Now that's an interesting situation. If your running WB's most of them use the roll up function, but that's not what you're looking for. Wait a minute, isn't there a hide function for the ObjectBar? Wouldn't that work? You could also change it to normal, desktop or always on top even with it being hidden. Give it a try, don't use ObjectBar myself.

Hiding the ObjectBar is not the problem. The problem is how do I then get it back when I have an application in front of it? It has to go to either the background or off-screen when I'm running a full-screen app. How do I get back to the bar without having to close the running app?

The touch screen doesn't allow you point to where the bar is so it appears? The only other thing I can think of is don't max your window, take a corner and make it bigger up to the point you can still see the bar.

I know, that's not want you want. Time to contact the maker of the touch screen for an answer on this one.  :NOTSURE:
