OD+ and PS Tray Factory systray filtering

I just emailed support but figured I'd put my email here in the forum to see if anyone else had any insight.

I just bought ObjectDock Plus to get the system tray support but it doesn't seem to work well with PS Tray Factory, a program I use to keep my systray icons under control. With PS Tray Factory I have just a few systray icons in my tray and the ones that don't provide any visual feedback are hidden away to be brought up in a menu from the PS Tray Factory tray icon. ObjectDock apparently enumerates the system tray below PS Tray Factory though as it lists all the icons regardless of what I have filtered with PS Tray Factory. Unfortunately this means that currently the sole reason I bought OD+ won't work for me. Is this a known issue or is it so niche as to be of no concern to Stardock?

LiquidMantis unfortunately not all customizing software plays well with each other. The filters or settings you have in PS Tray Factory won't have any effect on ObjectDock.

Since you already emailed support I would wait and see if they have a solution. It may come down to which software provides you with what you want as the deciding factor.

Even better, OD+ systray functionality is spotty at best. It doesn't update the systray if I start applications that add systray icons after OD+ is launched. Then if I quit OD+ and restart it the systray is empty entirely. This is without PS Tray Factory running so that's not the cause.

OS is Vista Ultimate.

I'm on XP, I use both a zoomer dock and a tabbed dock. I have a system tray tab on the tab dock and everything works fine. Plus does allow you to put the system tray icons on the zoomer dock also. Have you tried a search of the forums to see it there is an identified problem with OD+ and Vista?

This is on a zoomer dock, I don't want any tabbed docks. I just tried creating a tabbed dock with a systray tab for a sanity check and it too had no icons.

I have seen some other threads where people were saying they had no systray icons. Not much was said to resolve the issue except for one poster saying they should register rather than running a cracked version. Other threads mention its working with Vista.

The funny/ironic thing is that the user-created Systray Docklet works fine, both with PS Tray Factory filtering and without.

Thanks for the help.
