Firefox download bug

I've recently stopped using Internet Explorer in favour of firefox. For some reason I cannot download files from the mod liabry when using firefox. It converts them into some unopenable file format rather than Zip files. I also can't even open the liabry with Internet Explorer anymore. What's up?

Hm. No problem here, using Firefox 2.0.0.11

Did you check if Firefox removes the file-extension for some reason? Try adding .zip to the end and see if that helps.

Firefox doesn't handle download filenames properly when they have spaces in them. But you can simply add the .zip back and they should be fine.

It doesn't let me do that either... The only options it gives me are: Open with..., and save to disk.

Yes, rename it *after* you save it (or do "save link target as"), or just open it directly to your zip program (it should work fine, most only care about the contents of the file, not the extension).
