Need help with "tactical" overlays

Does anyone know if there is a way to change the "tactical" (zoomed out) map symbols as follows:

1) so that PQ0 planets have a different symbol from PQ1;

2) so that different exotic planet types have different "small" symbols rather than all using the same icon when zoomed way out.

Does not appear to be. The Overlay files are just

smallgreen
smallyellow
smallred

but not divided up by the exotic planet types, so they all seem to use the same symbol when zoomed way out.

Same with the PQ0 and PQ1 just one simple, and no xml files saying where to point.
