Because they are evil.
 




Oftentimes other applications or projects in front of it take longer than expected.  Sometimes the other proejcts take priority. It could be that the program itself is having problems.  It will be released when it's ready. 

Are there specific features that you are missing?  Object Desktop subscribers are able to use the August beta (3.49f(rc).017 that can do some cool stuff.

GR's helped me, it doesnt crash anymore, but scripts don't work.

I agree with the broken gadgets. They work fine with UAC turned on, but fail to load when UAC is turn off!! :(

Not only the Beta release of Vista SP1. I have SP1 RTM running and DesktopX crashes all the time as well as the DXWidgets.

David, unfortunately this only our Great Future Dream...

I'm very sad but I have stopped work on all projects on Vista. The creation of simple widgets/gadgets is doesn't interesting for me. At the same time I can't create anything more complicated because the DesktopX doesn't work stable.

So let's wait at least the release of 3.5 version!
