how to change icons???

ObjectDockPlus Icon problem

I have icons for my shortcuts on my desktop that I want to put on the dock, but they just turn into plain folders when I drag to the dock. How can I customize them on the dock? Also some just turn into whatever they want, like the Photoshop one is a peice of paper and feather. I want to make it something else. How can I change this? THANKS All for any help!

First off you need to have icons to replace the ones you dragged into the dock. ICO or PNG work. Remember that if the icons aren't the right size that they will look fuzzy if you make them too big. For example if they are 48 when you make them 80 they will be fuzzy. So, right click on the one you want to change then go to the folder you have your icons in and change it. It's that simple.

Thanks so much. I see what you mean, I have to go change the .exe file icon at the root. Problem is I can't seem to change it. Maybe with a 3rd party program I will have more luck. THANKS!
PS - my 'clock' has dissapeared! Any idea where I can find it to put it back? THANKS again for taking the time to help me out!

no you don't.

once the shortcut is created on the dock

right click on the one you want to change then go to the folder you have your icons in and change it. It's that simple.

you can use any ico or png or jpg or tga

Object Dock will replace (on the dock) that which you choose for that which is shown

Clarification of:

right click on the one you want to change then go to the folder you have your icons in and change it. It's that simple.
End of quote

right click on the short cut > choose "Dock Entry Properties" > choose "Change Image" > then go to the folder you have your icons (or pngs, tgas, jpgs) and change it.
