Vista woes

I'm sorry, but this will be a brief post for now. I got a new laptop yesterday, and decided to install a few of the smaller TG.net games to pass some time. One of the games is a personal favorite of mine, the Corporate Machine. Unfortunately, the laptop has Vista Home Premium and dislikes TCM. Specifically: The date progression stopped on January 2 of year 3 or 4. The animations (airplanes, etc.) continued. Exiting and reloading fixed this issue, however a few months later the game crashed to desktop. Unfortunately, I don't yet have smart exception on this compy.

every time I try to start this game it just give me an error.




and it tells me that there is an error in machine.exe (just bought it at stardock central)



any1 have a solution?

Same problem - just purchased, the three extra download don't download and the game doesn't work. Pretty dire if you ask me.
