Tech Advance speed!

How do i turn it down? ie slow it down. its far to fast in the game

As far as I remember, when you start a new game you can set the tech speed (in the same screen as the number of stars, habitable planets, galaxy size etc.)

Yes you can , i've just checked.

Can you do it on the campaign though? looks like you can't.
