Please help, unable to click on anything in upper left hand corner

I know this sounds weird and I hope I can explain it OK but when i have Object Dock open I'm unable to click on anything in a section in the upper left hand corner.

Meaning I can be in my file manager and unable to open any folders in the left side window but only in one little section. I can go up the line of folders. Open all of them and then it will stop and nothing will happen.

I have my Object bar on the top edge.
I have tried moving it and the same thing happens.

Strange thing though....
I will act like this and then all of a sudden stops doing it, then later it will act up again.

I hope someone has an answer to this problems

Thank,
Debbie

Debbie, just to check first you do mention ObjectDock not Objectbar where this post is listed.
If you are in fact using ObjectDock, open the ObjectDock configuration window by rightcliking on a blank space in your dock, select Dock Settings.. Choose... Positioning and look to see if Reserve edge of screen is checked, found near the top, under the dropdown for dock placement. Uncheck this To see if resolves your problem.

Yes I did mean 'Objectdock' sorry first post in here.

I will try that when I get home tonight.

One other thing I figured out.
I use 'Powerdesk' as my file manager and this is the main program it happens to.

When it is acting up, I found that if I open 'Explorer' file manager and then close it again my Powerdesk will work ok for awhile.

I will try your fix and let you know

Thanks,
Debbie

Ok, I followed your step when I got home and under the 'Positioning' section I don't have a "Reserve edge of screen".

There is a "Tabs always on top when docked to edge" is the closes thing.

The only 2 options I have in that section is:
Positioning..... Show dock as drawer\at top of screen - Is checked
Always on top - Is checked

Ok, now I have notice this happening in other programs then just Powerdesk.

I have tried checking and unchecking just about everything and nothing is working.

This was working fine until I reinstalled my OS.

I have tried restoring my old settings and also doing a clean install without changing anything and I still have problems

Please help

Hi Debbie...if your using a side dock....meaning no tabs....the "reserve edge of screen" option will be in ObjectDock Properties->Positioning...then right under the top dropdown. If your using tabbed docks it will be under ObjectDock Properties->Positioning...as well...but at the bottom.

I'm using the tabs

I right click on one of the tabs and go to 'Dock Settings'
Once that opens I go to 'Positioning'

There are 2 sections:
Show dock as drawer, and you pick what position you want the drawer
Always on top - If this is checked everything else is grayed out. If this is unchecked then the last option in the list is 'Tabs always on top when docked to edge'

Thanks,
Debbie

Installed Plus over Free?
Uninstall everything, clean registry, reboot, install Plus, reboot?

I appreciate all your help but I have given up on this.
I found 2 other toolbars that will work for me.

One is “JetToolBar” and right now I’m using “Maverick Launcher Centre”

Thanks so much for all your help,
Debbie
