Bad logon file, help!!!

Logon screen wont show user accounts

Help someone please if anyone can! I have a logon screen that wont let me logon. It shows no user accounts, no start button. I'm sure if I cant get into an account I can fix the problem, but the ploblem is this particular logon screen doesn't seem to work. I have many differnt logon screens so I do know it is this particular logon screen. Mabey it's a bad file or possible I downloaded a logon not compatible with windows xp home edition, nevertheless and to no avail I tried booting in safe mode but the screen still pops up. Any suggestions at this juncture would recieve a warm welcome.

when logon screen comes up, try ctr+alt+del twice

That did it thank you very much, but just about the time I came back in the house. My 17yr old daughter came out the room and was on her myspace page, and I ask her "how did you do that"? She said alt+contr+del (twice). Just goes to show how little I know, thank you. your good deeds shall not go untold Bichur. Later Faheezy
