Enlarged Icons

build 49 x86 running on vista x64 bit

Hi guys, well my stardock central account ran out and did not have the cash to renew it and i only really use Windowblinds so i paid for the enhanced version.

A Few Questions

1) When i try most of the vista/WB 6 suported skins my startmenu icons & notification area icons are very large. I was using build 52 (and did not have this problem) when I installed it using SDCentral. But i do with build 49.

Normal Icons

2) When will the enhanced DL version of WB, be updated to build 52/when can i know that the DL has been updated? Is there anyway to tell when you all update the installer with the new builds?

Thanks for the help

I do not use Vista but seem to recall a few people mentioning that you needed to change the size of the icons to reset it. Someone will correct me if I am wrong.

And Stardock Central itself is free so continue to use that to find any updates for WB, making sure to have Show pre-release versions checked.

ok, dumb question... How do i change the size of the icons? I mean is it from windows it self or WB options b/c i don't see anything for icon in windowblinds options.

Actually, you may want to try updating to the latest Beta of WindowBlinds (available through Stardock Central: http://sdc.stardock.com/sdcentral_setup.exe). I believe this newer version should work better in regards to this issue. Just enable the 'Show pre-release versions' option from within Stardock Central and WindowBlinds 6.00[b] should be available to you under there.

Note: If you had not already installed through Stardock Central previously, you will want to uninstall and restart your computer prior to installing the version through Stardock Central because it does its own app management.

I wanted to add that the exact same thing happened to me using that very skin you're using. Except ALL of my icons (including the quick launch ones) were bigger and blurred.
