Enhanced file dialog problem

Hi everyone

I've run into a problem with enhanced file dialog. It works fine on my laptop but not at all on the desktop. (laaptop is xp home desk xp pro) I've tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it, and anything else i can think of to do, but it just doesnt do a thing, if it were a parrot id say it was ex.

Anyone got any suggestions as this is a really handy little program, if it works.

What is happening when you try running it? Does it crash, or does it just not show up at all?

Do you have any security apps running that may not like EFD customizing your system dialogs?

It just doesn't show up in the dialogs. It doesn't crash, doesn't appear to be doing anything at all. Security is Kaspersky Internet Suite but I have it on both machines.

I went through (a number of times) both setups to make sure I had them setup the same, and all the same boxes are ticked on both etc.
