Repeatable CTD in 1.8

BTW make sure you still have at least one ship of the class you are making obsolete before trying this.

Upgrade to new custom ship.

I just had a CTD while trying to upgrade a lone ship I had just changed the design of, not sure if it's repeatable yet but will be running SE next time so I can gather more info to send in.

While I'm posting on this might as well add that the "day glow" ship components are back in the shipyard, though they immediatly get their textures back after reselecting another part, so it doesn't appear to be anything more than a minor issue.

CTD on upgrade here too. Very repeatable.

Actually saw the same thing in 1.7 beta 4. Though i don't think it is repeatable...i will check.

This happens in my current game also, which was started with 1.8, and was not occurring in the betas; completely repeatable. Only occurs if the ship class has been obsoleted, as stated by Drengin, and not if class is still active.

Decided to send in a smartexception log to stardock, as there was nothing in the debug.

Yep, if you're having this, send in the SE report. Better, if you can reproduce it send in an appropriate save and directions.
