my taskbar isn't transparent

Here is my info.. when running the diamond skin that comes with shareware version of windowblinds my taskbar looks transparent but really isn't.. Meaning that I can see through it but that when i drag a window into the taskbar area it just dissapears underneath it. I am running forceware version 163.75..

This is normal on Windows XP.

The taskbar is transparent to your wallpaper, not to any windows placed under it.

When on Vista the taskbar is transparent to windows under it too.

Is there no way to not have this ugly issue? It ruins about 90% of the skins out there for XP when you have an auto hide taskbar

I found out myself that the NVIDIA nView Desktop Manager that comes with their drivers has a option to make the taskbar transparent.. problem solved, for me anyway.. thx for the quick replies..
