Windowblinds does not apply properly

Hi. I have a problem with WindowBlinds and Vista. When I try to apply a theme it just reverts back to Windows Classic.
I have read the posts on the forums regarding this issue but I found none of them to be helpful.
The only thing I can think of is that I patched the uxtheme.dll so I could install the 'AeroMax' skin for Vista.
Here is that system info thing:
Your computer has a Windows Experience Index base score of 4.2
Your Windows Graphics Experience score is 4.8
WindowBlinds version : WindowBlinds 6.0 (build 49 x86 - Vista Edition)
WindowBlinds is installed correctly on this PC
WindowBlinds appears to be activated on this PC
(Generic Non-PnP Monitor) 1 is attached to NVIDIA GeForce 7600 GS
