How do you post screenshots

I know this is a stupid qqueston but how do you post screenshots I know how to save them but every time I post them it wiont show anything.So can someone please tell me a sight that will host them and let me post them.It would help thanks

Upload them at http://imageshack.us, then once uploaded, use the code from the 'direct link to image' box to paste into the insert image option in the reply box here.

There is a key that says "Print screen". Ony my keyboard it is inbetween inser and pause break. The screen can then be pasted into "paint" or any image viewer.

Instead of every time uploading to image shack, you can simply make a photobucket account for all your image hosting needs. Link to Photobucket

ok, I hit take sreenshot and it took a screenshot but I can't figure out where it was saved, or if it was. Any one know what I might be doing wrong?

Well if you pasted it in paint just do "save as" and put in "my documents" or wherever you else to stick it.

Wait, if you paste it on paint, be sure to save it as JPEG, quality reduced, but size of file is decreased dramatically. Better than BMP
