Start IconPackager With Windows Setting?

Attention: Brian Harper

Is there a setting or something I am missing that starts IconPackager with windows? I am "constantly" having to reapply my icons when ever I have to reboot and its really annoying.

Hey WebGizmos! The only thing I see and I never had occasion to look at it before is when you have IP up click on the settings icon and see if: Save IconPackager settings between sessions is checked. Mine was checked. I've never seen what you describe as happening, I wonder if that is the problem.

Yeah....thats checked Chasbo. Not sure why it keeps doing this. But then again....I've had nothing but problems with it since the beginning.

That doesn't make sense.  IconPackager doesn't stay in memory, it literally replaces the icons just as one changes a wallpaper.

If they're all getting changed back, you should take a look at what is actually causing it to get changed back.

Brad...I would love to look at whats causing it...if you could point me in the right direction that would be great...it only seems to happen when I reboot my pc. Thats why I was wondering if there was a setting I was missing somewhere...and searched everywhere for one.

I don't believe you could find a setting to alleviate that issue. Try going to Start->Run msconfig, choosing 'Selective Startup' and then unchecking 'Load startup items'.

If it's a problem you're having on startup, perhaps there is something else running at startup that may be causing the issue.

I'll give that a shot Mike and see what happens.
