2560x1600?

I've seen that 2560x1600 is possible in Sins, but on my rig I don't get an option to go above 1024x768. All my other games run in the higher resolution, am I missing something - what should I do?

Thanks,
Mike

Manually edit the settings files.

Here is how you do it

C:\Documents and Settings\user\Application Data\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\Setting

FULLSCREENWIDTH 1024
FULLSCREENHEIGHT 768
WINDOWEDWIDTH 1024
WINDOWEDHEIGHT 768

Resolution is a purely local display issue, so no.

Manually changing the settings works great thanks!!! Does anyone else notice a significant processor usage in the Beta?

Define "significant"... it doesn't stay maxed on one of the cores, if thats what you mean.

Actually it pretty much stays maxed out on core 1 the entire time 98% usage is average from what I've seem.

... if your responding to my quote, it doesn't stay maxed on either core. Usually 80+, but it drops and jumps. Maybe my processor is faster or something.

Most PC games assume that they'll get 100% priority access to the CPU. This is normal behavior.
