ObjectDock Suggestions

The Mac reflection effect does look great.  I'd love to see it in OD too.
However, I do believe that it is more difficult than easy.  We'll have to wait and see.

I've noticed that there are some icons out there that have the mirror effect as part of the icon itself. Placing them on an OD dock produces a mirror effect.

Is this the way the MAC does it or can it make a mirror out of any icon placed on it's dock?

DockOfAges I am not a skinner but learning the graphics programs, I do know that the mirrored effect for icons is something you do in the graphics program when creating, it's not done by OD. Therefore the mirror effect you are asking about if you mean the same as is done for a icon could be done...I just do not know what that would do to the size of the dock itself, meaning the dock would have to made much smaller in order to account for the mirror effect. The process is the same as if you were adding a shadow to the dock therefore increasing the measurements. To have a mirrored effect look correct you would need a full mirror of your dock.

After SD put blurred translucency on WB skins in XP I believe they can do anything. Their voodoo is powerful!
