windows do not restore at the same position

hi,

after startup of windows e.g. windows explorer appears at 5x and 5y
on the desktop. some time later if i closed it, it restores at
8x 8y. when i disable the on first appear animation or unload window fx
this doesn't happen. sometimes the mystical movement is much grater
and it always stops, when the lower right corner isn't visible anymore.

does anybody know how to solve that?

Windows only remember's so many window positions and then gets amnesia, you can use Tweakui to remember up to 999999 folder customizations in its Explorer section.
