taskbar not hidden in full screen mode

When I use the RealVNC viewer in full screen mode without Window Blinds, it takes up the entire screen, including painting over the taskbar. Not so when Window Blinds is running.

The behavior with the taskbar hidden or in not always on top mode with WB is not satisfactory, since I want it to not be hidden and to always be on top, except when I use full screen mode in the vnc viewer. This is a deal-breaker for WB for me..is there a way to work around this problem?

SpaceMuffin I not sure I follow what you are saying. WB does not change the normal Windows control of the taskbar. If you right click while on the taskbar and hit properties you will see what I'm talking about. If you don't change the taskbar setting from what you have without Window Blinds things should stay the same.

Now if you use other programs like Object Bar, Object Dock, thing might be different.  

If I'm totally wrong someone will stop by and correct me.

You're right in that regard--WB does not change the taskbar settings I see when I right-click on it and choose properties, but its behavior is nonetheless different with the vnc viewer when WB is running. Without WB, the taskbar is not visible in vnc full screen mode, with WB, the task bar is visible.

Well, I'm not going to download RealVNC just to try it.

I do run a program that has full screen function. I have the taskbar set to not hide and always be on top. If I go into my software and select full screen mode with WB the taskbar is not visible.

I suggest that you email support@stardock.com for assistance.

I was kinda hoping stardock support people hung out in these forums. I might email them..it's nice to know that other full screen apps do seem to work as expected here.

Solved: added vncviewer.exe to WB app exclusion list.
