Odd crash / freeze, need help

I'm experiencing an odd crash with Windows Blinds... I was using version 5.0 of WB with an NVidia 7950 gx2 for about a year with no trouble at all. I just upgraded to an ATI HD 2900XT and now everything appears at first glance to work fine, but whenever I rapidly drag a window across my desktop the screen freezes for about three seconds, then goes blank. While it is frozen I can still move the mouse cursor but nothing else.

I've upgraded to version 5.51 and have the most recent ATI drivers. The new card works perfectly in every other application, and when I disable WB, I can move the my windows around no problem.

Does anyone have any experience with any problems similar to this?

did you upgrade via standalone or through the Stardock Central Browser (aka SDC)?

Actually, after using the new video card for a day now I'm starting to experience non-WB related BSOD crashes. I'd more than likely blame that untill I get it resolved.

look for updated drivers (or in some cases a rollback)

I don't know much about the system info thingy you have posted but yours is really weird it looks outdated as mine is all in 2007 quite odd if you've updated , like Bichur asked how did you install your copy of wb.
If disabling the wb software does'nt fix the lssue then it's more than likley due to a driver, here's a bit of a long shot there could also be an older graphics driver or graphics card driver still installed causing a conflict with the newer driver

Nelno - if it turn out not to be the card/drivers:

(going by some of your dates, I'm guessing you installed via a download link)

try going here - install SDC and then in 'tools' register your serial

uninstall your version, reboot, use SDC to download and install
