Cp, you probably remember when the PrtScr button actually did what it said.   

Another tool that works similar to this program by using the PrtScn key is Solid Capture.

It is available for a low price of $29.95 and also allows for extracting and editing text from images, scrolling window captures and capturing multiple screens down to single pixels. A useful tool for Webmasters and others who work with graphics is the ability to capture individual colors on the screen and save the numeric color value in your text editor.

When I started up with PC's there was no such thing as a mouse, CD ROM, sound card nor an OS called Windows and floppy disks were 5 1/4 inch! My first hands-on experience was on an 8088!

The first PC I built was a 286 12Mhz w/ 512Kb base memory, a partitioned 40Mb HD and a Hercules Monochrome video card!

You had to actually know your F-functions to navigate!

I remember upgrading the RAM on my 286 to 2Mb with SIPP chips which had to be soldered onto the main board at a cost of $50 bucks per meg!

But it was good enough to run DOS 5.0, Wordperfect 5.0, dBase IV, Lotus 123 and XTree Pro Gold and I was in PC heaven, it didn't get any better!

So yeah, I remember the embryonic stages of the PC and when the PrtScr actually meant something!
