An Econ-centric Custom AAR

Alright, while first off, I'm back and I'm jumping right in with my undertaking (that I have been tweaking for the last few days) of a new game and AAR. This first post will just be showing the game and race set up, and my start position.

Note before going onto Race setup: I tweaked my races to suit their designated Super Ability or Personality more closely in my opinion. In most cases, this means one or two things: I increased an inherit bonus or dropped a bonus that I felt didn't belong to that race. No abilities are outrageous or greatly affect game play in a way that throws off balance.

OK so thats all the race stats. Below is a screenshot of my start (I'm the white race in the upper center) I have a good amount of stars closeby and one may also notice that the Carinoids are in the system to my right, which is VERY nice, gives me a early trading partner and easy way to get some techs.
