Latest Stardock Newsletter about Magic Suite/OD Elite Users

"Object Desktop Elite users are users who have active subscriptions to ObjectDesktop.net past January 1, 2009."

How that ? Did I miss something ? Is there a 2 Year subscription ? Or is it a typo ?

We were waiting for the final WB6 to ship for final testing.  We ended up doing an animated menu.

It is in final testing phases right now.  I've used it- it's really cool.  Totally worth the wait!!

BTW, if anyone wants to get it and doesn't have a subscription past 1/1/09, you can still renew and get the suite for free since it hasn't shipped yet.

Run Stardock Central and click where it says Registration Info on the bottom right hand corner, this will then display your registration information including the expiry date of your subscription.

Also thanks for the reply KarmaGirl, hopefully will be this week then, seeing as WB6 has now officially been released?

Incidentally, now that WindowBlinds 6 is out, we can get ready to release the Magic suite. Just waiting for some updates to Theme Manager now to support some of the new bits.

In addition to BeLGaRaTh67's suggestion, you can also

  • Visit https://www.stardock.com/support and input your email address at any time to have your account information emailed.
  • Visit the main WinCustomize Site and click Settings at the top right, then click Registrations at the far right. This lists all of your account information, including serial numbers, download links and subscription expiration dates (essentially what you'd receive in the email sent from option one)

Ok I have a question: In the WC settings it says my OD sub ends Aug 28 08 but in SDC it says it ends Oct 17 09 And the email from Stardock says it ends Oct 16 09. So which is right?

Did you just recently renew? If you did the '09 date would be correct. Not sure why a days difference.

Yeah the 09 is correct, mine shows the same thing. There should aslo be Renewal entries in there below the original.

Yes, I did renew about a month and a half ago. I bought 2 sub to make the 09 timeline. I used 3 different ways to check sub dates and there all different.
