Windows Media Player Classic Full Screen problem

How could I solve it?

Hi!

I have some trouble with ObjectDock while using Windows Media Player Classic…
When I'm watching a fullscreen movie it doesn't show any image and I discovered it does indeed but only when I close ObjectDock…

So how could I solve it?

Please let me know

Have you tried having the dock hide off screen from the settings?

Yes it's always off screen because I set it up as "autohide"…

Hello, I have the same problem with the last release of Object Dock plus. I have found a working around : disable the option 'reserve edge of screen' and Windows Media Player classics or Zoom Player or Nero Show Time will return to work correctly also in full screen mode ! I think this is a bug of last version beta of Object dock, because until the last release I hadn't this problem ...

Try a simple uninstall/reinstall and let me know if this clears the issue.

Do you know where I can get classic from to try this out myself?

Seabass, do a search for Quicktime alternative. Media player classic should come with it.

Hello, I tried a simple uninstall/reinstall using Stardock Central (with reboot after uninstall) but without success.

Is it possible that this problem is caused by the resolution of my monitor (1360x768) ? But if it is, it's very strange because until few months ago, I hadn't any problem ...

Thanks

I haven't had any problems with OD and WMP or Nero. I keep my OD on the top edge of the screen, set on auto-hide.

I keep my OD on left of the screen with 'reserve edge' option and not with auto-hide.
If I put OD on the top of the screen it works good !

To Robbyb71: I can't disable the option 'reserve edge of screen' as I've chosen "Hide off-screen when not used", and I still can't watch full screen movie!

I have this problem with 1024x768 screen. I set Object Dock as auto hide on top of the screen.

After months I still have to close Object Dock in order to see a full screen movie with Windows Media Player Classic which is really annoying! I formated my PC and it didn't change anything!

To Killajosh: do you use Media Player Normal or Classic version?

oh...yeah, I use normal....WMP11. I like classic, but there are some killer skins for normal. I just got rid of classic about a month ago, dl'd wmp11. better, in my opinion. but you know what they say about opinions......

I see! That's why you don't have trouble with WMP+OD! It's the same for me if I use WMP11 I can watch movies full screen, but WMP11 takes too much resources for the poor PC I have that's why I'm using classic version. As an alternative if I don't find any way to fix this Object Dock bug I'll probably set VLC as default movie player…
