New portion of bugs

1. Again as with the ships in the same sector.
When ships come in the same sector with the mining resourse base (a cristal in the center) the base disappears - only a cristal remains.
2. A checkbox "Show full battles only if both sides are fleets" is activated. But several times it shown the full movie view of the battle when a ship attacked my base. And another - several times two opposing fleets (mine and AI) were fighting on the strategic map without going into "realistic movie" while mentioned box in options was active.
3. A strange bug: An allied (friendly race) gives to me a ship, it becomes mine (a colour is the same as my ships colour, etc.). I do not pay attantion to it for a while and after some turns trying to find that "friendly present" and what i see... that ship is static. It cannot be selected and moved etc. It is just stucked. After 3-5 turns it disappears from the map.
4. Is it all right that in "colony management" window when "focusing" on one of the three projects (military, social or research) the spending of credits slightly decreasing? May be it must be vice versa?
5. And the last: sometimes game crashes to desktop after enormous playing (2-3 hours). Memory leakage?

1. Again - upgrade to the latest patch - its fixed.

2. Its possible for a single ship to be defined as a fleet for the AI. There may have been more ships in with it before. Unusual but it happens. SBs are always counted as fleets for battles.
Don't know why your 2 fleet battle didn't show. Unless it was such a walk-over the AI interpreted it as no defense.
3. Upgrade to latest patch - I saw this in betas but not since 1.61 patch
4. when you focus, the focus area does not get the benefit of most of the bonuses perculiar to the main production type. Example: I have labs and on-planet resources to make 100 tp's, at full price. I also have off-planet bonuses of 50%, at half-price for those points. So if I am not focused, all-research, I porduce 150 tp's. However, if I focus on Military Prod, 25% of the base production only goes to Military Prod, so I get 25 mp's in the shipyard. The 75 points remaining in Research benefits from the add'l research bonuses, so 75 + [75*50%] = 75 + ~37 = 112 research points.
5. Update to the latest patch - it improved memory handling

Have no possibility to install patch for now. May be later. May be it will be 1.7 already...
A question. Why in 1.6 the button "Set homebase" is unavailable? Why it was disactivated in this patch? Before such a possibility was very useful...
