XP on Parallels for Mac (Primary) / XP (secondary) Mouse Issues

Mouse not working on secondary

I'm running Multiplicity Pro 1.10 on XP under Parallels on a MacBook Pro and have a secondary setup on a PC also running XP. The keyboard seems to work fine but the mouse cursor seems to be stuck to the side of the screen on the secondary. I can move it up and down and right-click (shows the menu) but I can't detach the cursor from the side of the screen.

Anyone have any ideas?

I would first suggest updating to version 1.2 (though a clean install may be better if you are not using Stardock Central - https://www.stardock.com/sdnet_login.asp ). When running Windows within an emulator and using software a little more specific to the system (ie not something like a word processor, etc) you run the chance of things not working properly.

We just need to see some additional progress on the Multiplicity version targeted for the Mac platform, so you will not need to use such an emulator

I did the update but it didn't help. I'm guessing is has something to do with the Mac mouse drivers and how they're translated through Parallels. Guess I'm stuck in the same boat as everyone else with a Mac....waiting for the OS X version! Aaargh!

Hi,

I have a mac as well as a PC at home. I tried out what you were describing on my intel Mac with much of the same results. I am afraid we are both going to have to wait.
