Espionage allocation past advanced (DL)

Ok I've seen this answered (sort of) for DA but not so much for DL. If I reach advanced espionage with a race do I need to keep allocating funds for it for chances to steal research? Or can I safely cut it all off and still recieve the chances?

IIRC, spending on espionage past advanced is wasted BC in DL. You should get the tech-stealing chance for the rest of the game b/c you've built an infrastructure.
